Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

​The Quality Assurance Engineer will develop, modify, and execute software test plans, manual test cases, automated scripts and programs for testing. They debug software products through the use of systematic tests to apply and maintain quality standards for Workday's products. The Quality Assurance Engineer will also ensure that system tests are successfully completed, documented and resolved.

About You

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both automated and manual testing.

Perform end-to-end testing, including planning, execution, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression.

Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as JUnit, Bamboo, Silk Test, Selenium, MABL, Tricentis, or Cypress.

Collaborate closely with development and product teams in an Agile, Test-Driven Development (TDD) environment.

Troubleshoot and analyze issues, working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and ensure timely resolution.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and testing methodologies.

Potentially lead or mentor other QA team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.

Basic Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or business analysis, encompassing both automated and manual testing techniques / approaches.

5+ years of experience with XSLT, REST API, Web Services, Workday HCM, Workday Report Writer, or Workday Business Process.

3+ years of experience working in Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD) environments.

2+ years in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Development.

Experience in CPQ

Other Qualifications :

Demonstrated experience with Selenium WebDriver.

Proven experience creating automation test suites at scale, utilizing tools such as JUnit, Bamboo, Silk Test, Selenium, MABL, or Cypress.

Experience leading or mentoring other team members is a plus.

A creative and organized approach with a strong customer focus.

High degree of attention to detail, coupled with an eagerness for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
