Job descriptionProven hands-on experience deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Strong working knowledge of GKE (Kubernetes) , Cloud Run , and Cloud SQL . Experience with VPC design, routing, IAM, and networking configurations . Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager, etc.). Understanding of containerization, Docker images , and artifact management . Knowledge of identity and access controls , service accounts , and workload identity . Experience implementing security controls , encryption, and network isolation. Familiarity with other cloud environments ( AWS, Azure ) is an advantage. Minimum 4–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Overview :
Vasman Solutions is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Engineer to implement a highly secure and scalable infrastructure for our cybersecurity SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in Google Cloud architecture, containerized deployments, networking, and database management, with a strong focus on security and scalability following zero-trust principles.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Google Cloud services (GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL).
- Configure and secure VPC networks , private subnets , firewalls , and load balancers for multi-zone and multi-region availability.
- Deploy and manage PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL) with replication, backup, and private access configuration.
- Set up and maintain CI / CD pipelines for automated deployments and updates.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging .
- Ensure compliance with security best practices , least privilege access, and zero-trust architecture.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency .
- Collaborate with the application development team to support integration and testing.
- Document the deployment architecture, configuration, and operational procedures.
