We’re Hiring : Senior Engineer – Substation Design (Primary | AIS / GIS up to 400kV)

Join our award-winning Power & Renewables team at one of the Middle East’s top-ranked engineering firms (#5 in ME, #38 globally – ENR). We’re seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead substation primary design activities for major T&D projects (AIS / GIS up to 400kV).

Responsibilities :

Lead and deliver detailed substation primary designs (SLDs, layouts, grounding, lightning, cable schedules, etc.)
Perform technical reviews, design validation, and vendor coordination
Support project planning, client communication, and interdisciplinary coordination
Guide and mentor junior engineers and CAD teams

✅ Requirements :

B.E. / M.E. in Electrical Engineering

8–15 years' experience in AIS / GIS substation design (up to 400kV)

Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Dialux

Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, SEC, Aramco standards

Excellent technical leadership and communication skills
