Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional with significant exposure in Valuations, M&A Support, and Transaction Advisory. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of executing and reviewing valuation assignments, financial models, and due diligence reviews, with at least 3 years of prior experience in a similar role. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to NPV’s global expansion journey while mentoring teams, managing client mandates, and ensuring delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Valuations & Financial Modelling
- Execute and review business valuations, purchase price allocations, impairment testing, and complex financial instrument valuations (as per IFRS, US GAAP and other regulatory requirements).
- Build and review detailed financial models (DCF, comparable, precedent transactions, merger models, scenario / sensitivity analysis).
- Deliver valuation support for M&A, restructuring, and compliance purposes (ASC, IRC, SEC, etc.).
2. M&A & Investment Banking Support
Oversee preparation of pitchbooks, teasers, CIMs, management presentations, and investor decks.Supervise research deliverables : sector notes, target / buyer identification, synergy assessments, and benchmarking.Coordinate due diligence support, including quality of earnings, working capital analysis, and sustainability reviews.3. Investment Research & Advisory
Lead thematic research, market mapping, competitive benchmarking, ESG analysis, and portfolio monitoring.Support PE / VC clients in pre-deal analysis, post-investment monitoring, and exit planning.4. Client & Team Leadership
Participate in client calls.Build, Mentor, train, and review outputs of analysts and team leads.Drive process excellence, maintain confidentiality protocols, and ensure deliverables meet international standards.5. Business Development & Strategy
Support partners in building relationships with global clients and expanding NPV’s footprint into new geographies.Identify cross-border mandate opportunities and contribute to business generation initiatives.Qualifications and experience
Chartered Accountant (CA) / CFA / CPA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.Preference will be given to candidates with Valuation certification from globally accredited institutions.Minimum 3 years of recent relevant experience in a similar role.Proven expertise in valuation methodologies, financial reporting standards, and regulatory frameworks (IFRS, US GAAP, IRC, SEC, ASC etc.).Exposure to multiple industries.Preferred Attributes
Prior experience in a leading valuation firm or boutique investment banking setup providing similar set of services.Strong execution orientation with ability to balance delivery and client engagement.Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex cross-border assignments.Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.Comfortable working in an offshore execution model serving global geographies.Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.What We Offer
