About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Pre-Sales Manager to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, designing innovative QA solutions, and supporting the sales team in achieving their revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong techno-functional expertise, domain knowledge, and the ability to bridge customer needs with tailored quality engineering and assurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Pipeline Generation : Create new business opportunities within existing accounts and qualified prospects.
- End-to-End Presales Ownership : Manage the entire presales process from requirement understanding, solution design, and proposal creation to final presentation and handover.
- Client Engagement : Engage with key customer stakeholders (CXOs, Product, and Technology leaders) to identify pain points, business challenges, and strategic needs.
Solutioning & Consulting :
Design industry-specific QA and testing solutions aligned to client goals.Advise customers on QA transformation roadmaps, automation, and innovation strategies.Proposal & Deal Support : Work on large-scale RFPs / RFIs (USD 1-10M+), build competitive pricing models, and deliver winning presentations and SOWs.Collaboration : Liaise between sales, marketing, and delivery teams to define USPs, value propositions, and packaged offerings.Thought Leadership : Contribute to whitepapers, case studies, and marketing collateral showcasing customer success and innovation.Knowledge Transfer : Work closely with delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution post-sales.Coaching : Mentor internal delivery and sales teams on presales best practices, packaging, and solutioning.Market Intelligence : Stay updated on the latest QA trends, tools, and frameworks including AI-driven testing and Agile transformation.Required Skills & Experience :
4-10 years of experience in crafting QA / testing solutions across diverse domains.Proven experience working in mid to large-size IT services or product companies (India / global).Experience in presales for large deals / RFPs (USD 1-10M+) including solutioning, packaging, and pricing.Strong understanding of QA consulting engagements and demonstrated value creation for clients (50+ employee orgs).Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, test automation frameworks, Agile / Scrum, and AI-driven testing trends.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage CXO-level stakeholders.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for solution documents and proposals.Strong business acumen, problem-solving, attention to detail, and innovation mindset.Preferred Qualifications :
Education : B.E / B.Tech + MBADomain Experience : Finance, Healthcare, OTT, Payments, or Enterprise Systems
