Project Manager (Cybersecurity) - Ecommerce Giant

Job descriptionPromote a culture of continuous improvement across systems and services. Identify opportunities for process optimization using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Define and monitor KPIs and quality metrics to assess performance and drive improvements. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues. Standardize best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality. May lead quality assurance efforts related to product validation and testing. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and enforce security policies and procedures. Lead efforts to identify and mitigate risks across infrastructure, data, and operations. Stay informed on emerging threats and industry best practices to proactively enhance security. Support or lead audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response planning. Ensure compliance with global data protection regulations (e.G., GDPR, CCPA) and security standards (e.G., ISO 27001, NIST). Maintain and execute incident response protocols during security events. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.G., Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management). Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, operations, process improvement, and quality assurance. Proven success in managing complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish. Hands-on experience in building and refining quality management systems. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks. Experience in a consulting environment is a plus. Project Management Professional (PMP) – Required Agile certification (e.G., CSM, CSPO, SAFe) – Required Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt – Required Security certifications (e.G., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) – Preferred Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT-N1 or equivalent) – Preferred Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proficiency in project management tools (e.G., Jira, Asana, MS Project) Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes Familiarity with budgeting and cost control principles Understanding of risk management methodologies
