Job description

As a Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, building and maintaining the server‑side logic and data services that power modern web applications. You will work primarily with .NET Core and C# to develop RESTful APIs, implement data access layers using Entity Framework Core and build secure, scalable, cloud‑native applications on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain modern, cloud-ready web applications using .NET Core and RESTful Web APIs.
  • Write efficient, maintainable C# code for the backend, implementing data access through Entity Framework Core and LINQ.
  • Build, test and document APIs using Swagger / OpenAPI to support seamless integrations.
  • Develop optimized SQL queries, stored procedures and work with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Deploy and integrate solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring reliability, scalability and security.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 6–9 years of hands-on development experience with a strong focus on .NET Core.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, RESTful Web APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Strong experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ and database development.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
