Optical Fitter / Technician

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for accurate lens fitting, edging, and mounting lenses into spectacle frames as per prescriptions and technical specifications.
• Interpret optical prescriptions and ensure the correct type, size, and curvature of lenses are selected.
• Operate and maintain optical machinery such as lens edging, grooving, and drilling machines with precision.
• Inspect and verify finished spectacles to ensure quality, comfort, and accuracy before delivery to customers.
• Adjust, align, and repair spectacle frames to ensure proper fit and comfort for customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical lab, ensuring proper handling and safety of tools and materials.
• Manage and record lens inventory, ensuring adequate stock for daily operations.
• Collaborate with optometrists and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order completion.
• Follow company quality standards and procedures to deliver high-quality optical products.
• Stay updated with new optical technologies, equipment, and materials to improve work efficiency and precision.
