Role Overview

HGPI is seeking a

detail-oriented and experienced Accountant

to manage day-to-day financial operations across its institutions.

The ideal candidate will handle

accounts management, reconciliation, vendor payments, student fee records , and ensure compliance with statutory and institutional accounting norms.

This position requires accuracy, confidentiality, and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations including

vouchers, receipts, payments, and journal entries .

Maintain accurate records of

student fee collections, refunds, and advances .

Prepare and reconcile

bank statements, ledgers, and trial balances .

Ensure

timely processing of vendor payments, staff salaries, and reimbursements .

Handle

TDS, GST, and other statutory filings

in compliance with government regulations.

Prepare monthly and annual

financial reports, budgets, and expense summaries .

Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial reviews.

Support management with financial data for decision-making and institutional audits.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

(B.Com / M.Com preferred).

2–6 years

of relevant accounting experience (preferably in an educational institution or trust).

Proficiency in

Tally ERP, MS Excel, and Google Workspace .

Strong understanding of

GST, TDS, and financial compliance requirements .

Excellent organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Integrity, accountability, and ability to meet deadlines.
