Developer OPEN EMR

We are seeking an experienced  OpenEMR Specialist / Developers / Implementers  to design, customize, implement, and maintain the OpenEMR platform for our healthcare operations. The candidate will be responsible for system development, configuration, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards and regulations (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation & Configuration
• Install, configure, and deploy OpenEMR across healthcare facilities or client environments.
• Customize workflows, templates, and forms to meet clinical and administrative needs.
• Integrate OpenEMR with third-party systems (e.g., labs, pharmacies, billing platforms).
• Development & Customization
• Develop custom modules, plugins, and reports using PHP, MySQL, and related technologies.
• Maintain and extend APIs for interoperability (HL7, FHIR, CCD / CCD-A).
• Optimize system performance and scalability.
• Support & Maintenance
• Provide end-user support, training, and documentation for clinicians and staff.
• Monitor and resolve technical issues, bugs, and upgrades.
• Apply security patches and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Support audits and certification processes.
• Maintain strong security controls for PHI (Protected Health Information).
