Job Summary :

The Welder–Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, and welding metal parts and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves reading blueprints, preparing materials, and ensuring high-quality, safe, and accurate welding and fitting work.

Skills & Competencies :

Proficiency in different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC, Gas).
Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication sketches.
Knowledge of metal properties and fabrication processes.
Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in workshop or site environments.
Understanding of safety regulations and PPE requirements.

Qualification & Experience :

ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fitting, or related trade.

1–3 years of experience in fabrication, construction, or manufacturing (freshers may also apply).

Valid welding certification (if applicable) is an advantage.

⏱️ Working Conditions :

Workshop / factory-based role; may involve fieldwork or site assignments.

Overtime or shift work may be required depending on project schedules.
