POSITION OVERVIEW : This role is for a skilled Azure Cloud Administrator responsible for managing Azure resources using both the GUI and PowerShell. The administrator will handle resource provisioning, Office 365 administration, license management, and compliance. Strong troubleshooting skills in ADFS, AAD Connect, Exchange SMTP, and user access issues are essential, along with experience in remote support, ticket resolution, and creating support documentation.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Azure & Office 365 Management :
- Manage the Microsoft Azure portal using the GUI and PowerShell.
- Administer Azure resource provisioning / deprovisioning, permissions, and access.
- Manage all resources and licenses according to organizational policy.
- Handle Retention policies, Retention Tags, and mail restrictions.
- Troubleshooting :
- Troubleshoot ADFS, ADFS Proxy, AAD Connect, Exchange SMTP, and SMTP Relay server issues.
- Provide excellent troubleshooting for complex support issues.
- Support desktop and mobile devices via remote support.
- Support & Documentation :
- Provide daily end-user / Service Desk support and manage the ticket queue.
- Create and maintain support articles and a knowledge base (KB).
- Respond to escalations and high-priority requests.
- Write and execute custom PowerShell scripts to resolve user issues.
- Security & Compliance :
- Possess knowledge of security and compliance on Office 365.
- Investigate different audit logs.
Required Skill Set
Experience : 3+ years of experience managing Microsoft Azure Cloud environments.Technical Expertise :Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) : The ability to handle complex issues beyond basic help desk support, with a focus on advanced troubleshooting of session hosts, user profiles (FSLogix), applications, and network connectivity.PowerShell Scripting : Experience writing and executing custom PowerShell scripts.Windows OS : Deep expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure and Windows OS.Personal & Professional Skills :Independent problem solver with strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and analytical skills.Ability to work as part of a team, work flexible hours, and be on-call.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to communicate a clear and concise status.Meets defined deadlines.OPT- 110
