SAS Developer – Fraud Management (SFM Framework)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced

SAS Developer

with a strong background in

SAS Fraud Management (SFM)

and

Visual Investigator (VI) . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and implementing fraud detection solutions, as well as a good understanding of modern technology stacks including

Java ,

Spring Boot , and

Microservices .

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and implement SAS solutions using

SAS Fraud Management (SFM) .

Develop and maintain

SAS programs , macros, and scripts to support fraud monitoring and reporting.

Integrate SAS components with

Java-based microservices

and APIs.

Work with stakeholders to design and optimize fraud detection models and workflows.

Perform

data analysis and transformation

using SQL and SAS Data Integration tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams following

Agile

methodologies.

Ensure compliance with

coding standards, documentation, and security best practices .

Conduct

unit testing , debugging, and performance tuning of SAS code.

Research and benchmark new technologies to improve existing fraud detection systems.

Required Technical Skills :

5+ years

of SAS development and design experience.

2+ years

of hands-on experience with

SAS Fraud Management (SFM)

implementation.

Experience with

SAS Visual Investigator (VI) .

Strong proficiency in

SQL , data modeling, and data entity management.

Good understanding of

APIs ,

JSON , and

data integration

concepts.

Working knowledge of

Java ,

Spring Boot , and

Microservices

architecture.

Functional Skills : Experience in

Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech

domains (preferred).

Familiarity with

fraud detection processes , case management, and rule design.

Exposure to

Agile methodologies

and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).

Strong understanding of

technical and application architecture

principles.
