Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive surgical care including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of general surgical conditions.
- Assist in performing and independently handle basic and intermediate surgical procedures under supervision or as per privileges granted.
- Participate in emergency and elective surgeries, ward rounds, and post-operative care.
- Manage surgical OPD, admissions, pre-operative and post-operative counseling and documentation.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialties to ensure integrated patient care.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
- Engage in academic activities like CME, journal clubs, and case discussions within the department.
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical audit initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
MBBS with MS / DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution.0 to 3 years of clinical or surgical experience in a reputed hospital.Strong surgical foundation with ability to handle ward and OT responsibilities.Good communication, teamwork, and crisis management skills.Willingness to work in rotational shifts including emergency duties.Skills Required
