Job descriptionHandle all aspects of GST including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual return filing, e-invoice generation, and e-way bill preparation . Manage TDS deduction, payment, and filing of e-TDS returns within due dates. Ensure timely remittance and compliance for PF, ESI, PT, and LWF . Support statutory and tax audits by coordinating with internal and external auditors. Review and authorize vendor invoices , ensuring accurate booking and timely payments. Follow up with customers for outstanding receivables to ensure timely collection. Oversee bank reconciliations , fund transfers , and daily cash flow management . Ensure timely remittance of all statutory and vendor payments . Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Track and report on key financial metrics , supporting strategic decision-making. Support in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to improve operational efficiency. Coordinate with auditors for tax audit, statutory audit, and annual return filings . Provide necessary data and documentation during audits. Ensure proper maintenance of financial records, vouchers, and supporting documents for audit trails. Implement and monitor internal financial controls and accounting procedures . Work on improving automation and efficiency in accounting and reporting processes. Maintain working knowledge of banking systems, ERP / accounting software, and e-filing portals . Strong knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / Accounting Software Expertise in GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, LWF and statutory filings Good understanding of banking operations, fund management, and reconciliation Excellent communication and coordination skills with auditors, vendors, and internal teams Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy
1. Accounting and Financial Management
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including purchase, sales, bank, journal, and provision entries .
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and review provisional financial statements and coordinate for finalization with auditors.
- Monitor budget vs. actuals , prepare periodic budget forecasts , and analyze variances.
