Role Objective :
To institutionalize robust operational systems, monitor performance across all departments, and build a high-performing, cost-effective workforce aligned with the company’s strategic vision. This role ensures operational discipline, process innovation, and manpower efficiency to make the organization competitive and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Process Setup & Operational Standardization
- Design and implement SOPs across all functions — Production, QC, Purchase, HR, Stores, Dispatch, and Finance.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards for factory and HO teams to ensure accountability.
- Introduce lean manufacturing and productivity tools (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Ensure smooth coordination between factory and HO for planning, approvals, and reporting.
2. Performance Monitoring & People Management
Evaluate employee productivity, attendance, and performance trends.Design appraisal systems linking performance with incentives and growth.Build systems for recurring talent evaluation and succession planning.Conduct monthly review meetings with HODs to drive performance improvements.Foster a culture of ownership, discipline, and innovation among employees.3. Cost Optimization & Resource Efficiency
Analyze departmental budgets and monitor cost per output metrics.Identify areas for cost saving (manpower utilization, wastage control, process flow).Review vendor performance and cost-effectiveness in procurement and logistics.Benchmark operations with industry standards for competitiveness.4. Strategic & Management Alignment
Translate management vision into short-term and long-term operational goals.Support expansion projects and technology upgrades.Prepare MIS and strategic reports for management review.Ensure all departments work in sync with organizational objectives.Required Qualification & Experience
Education : B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Industrial) or MBA (Operations / Industrial Management / HR).Experience : 10–20 years in FMCG / Cosmetics / Pharma / Personal Care manufacturing setup.Preferred Skills :Proven track record in setting up operational systems and SOPs.Strong leadership and cross-departmental coordination skills.Analytical mindset with financial and manpower planning abilities.Proficiency in ERPNext / Excel-based reporting tools.Hands-on approach with boardroom-level communication skills.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
