Job descriptionRepresent clients before Income Tax Authorities, CIT(A), and ITAT in matters of assessments, appeals, and revisions. Draft legal submissions, written arguments, and responses to departmental notices. Provide strategic advisory on tax litigation, risk management, and compliance. Collaborate with law firms and senior counsels for complex litigation cases. Maintain strong client relationships by offering end-to-end support from notice to closure. Direct Tax Litigation Income Tax Assessments & Appeals Representation before CIT(A) & ITAT Tax Advisory & Compliance Corporate Tax Planning Drafting & Legal Submissions TDS and Withholding Tax Search & Seizure Proceedings Retainership Consulting Chartered Accountant – ICAI Certificate Course on Direct Tax Laws (if applicable) Certificate in Forensic Accounting / GST / International Taxation (optional)

Key Responsibilities :
- Drafting and filing of appeals, submissions, and replies to notices under Income Tax Act
- Handling scrutiny assessments (u / s 143(3)) and reassessment proceedings (u / s 147)
- Advisory on tax positions, litigation strategy, and compliance
- Liaison with counsels for ITAT and High Court matters
- Expertise in corporate tax, TDS issues, search & seizure cases, and penalty proceedings
