Role Overview

We are looking to hire a dynamic Junior Data Engineer to join our India Tech Hub team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure + Snowflake + Databricks) . You will be responsible for building scalable data solutions, troubleshooting incidents, optimizing performance, and supporting global teams across Canada and Seattle.

Key Responsibilities

Build & Optimize Pipelines : Develop scalable ETL processes using Snowflake, Databricks, Python, SQL, Azure services to support analytics and reporting.

Data Ingestion : Create frameworks for seamless integration across multiple systems while ensuring high data quality.

Performance & Reliability : Optimize queries, refine pipelines, and troubleshoot issues to maintain system efficiency and reliability.

Collaboration : Partner with global teams (Canada, Seattle) and internal stakeholders to align delivery.

Best Practices : Drive coding standards, automation, CI / CD, and version control in data engineering processes.

Security & Compliance : Adhere to data privacy, access control, and regulatory requirements.

Documentation : Maintain clear technical documentation using Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Miro.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of Data Engineering or ETL / Data Architecture experience.

Strong expertise in Snowflake (Snowsql), Python, Spark .

Hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Key Vault, Azure DevOps .

Experience in Databricks (batch + streaming), data pipelines, and cost optimization.

Strong SQL skills (query tuning, database optimization).

Experience with Streamlit, Azure Functions, Python automation .

Familiarity with collaboration tools ( Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, Miro ).

Strong communication skills; ability to work with global teams.

Problem-solving and self-driven mindset.
