Product Designer

About the Role :

Product Designer II will be responsible for using design thinking to solve complex problems & ship high-fidelity designs for new features & prototype solutions. You will be working collaboratively with cross-functional partners like product management, engineering and business in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do :

Advocating for good user experience across our platform by representing our users in design brainstorming discussions.

Identifying the appropriate UX methods and tools to use depending on project constraints.

Prototyping solutions to solve complex problems.

Contributing to our growing design system of patterns in an effort to cultivate a cohesive look, feel, and user experience across the entire Flipkart platform.

Sharing and reviewing your designs based on peer feedback, research, and testing.

What you’ll need :

Bachelors or Masters in Design, HCI, Psychology or any other related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Product design or UX roles.

Empathy and advocacy for users, in all areas of work.

A deep understanding of the design process, experience using UX prototyping tools, as well as relevant fundamental knowledge of front-end technologies to understand the constraints of the design.

Extraordinary UI design abilities that can be demonstrated through current projects.

Thinking in terms of design systems and reusable components.

Excellent written and communication skills.
