Job Description – Career Counsellor / Sourcing Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential IT candidates and guide them toward suitable career opportunities with our US-based clients.
- Learn to source profiles using top job boards such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and internal databases.
- Review resumes, conduct initial discussions, and understand candidates’ skills, experience, and job preferences.
- Work closely with senior counsellors and account managers to support ongoing client needs.
- Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and feedback between candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain organized and updated candidate information in our internal systems.
- Get trained on key US hiring concepts (W2, C2C, 1099, work authorizations, etc.) and apply them in daily tasks.
- Meet daily / weekly targets related to sourcing and candidate engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
MBA HR / Bachelor's or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.Good understanding of sourcing or a passion to learn recruitment tools and techniques.Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.Willingness to work in US shifts (CST).Prior exposure to US staffing or recruitment (up to 1 year) is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
