Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Cypress

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using Cypress.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA team, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Provide timely feedback to development teams and suggest Skills :
• 4+ years of overall QA experience with 2+ years in Cypress automation.
• Strong programming / scripting skills in Java (or Experience with Jenkins for CI / CD automation.
• Good understanding of SQL and ability to write complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for REST API testing.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and defect management tools (like JIRA).
