Job Summary :
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Murex Environment Support Engineer to provide operational support and maintenance for Murex environments (DEV, UAT, SIT, PRE-PROD, PROD). The role involves environment setup, troubleshooting, coordination with development / testing teams, and ensuring availability and performance of Murex platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide daily support for Murex environments, including health checks, issue triage, and performance monitoring.
- Manage environment refreshes, deployments, and configuration activities.
- Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to support environment needs.
- Troubleshoot environment-specific issues across Murex modules, including MxML,Datamart, and workflows.
- Support integration and testing phases by ensuring availability and stability of environments.
- Perform batch job monitoring and issue resolution using tools like Control-M or Autosys.
- Maintain environment documentation including topology, configurations, and access controls.
- Assist with Murex upgrades, patching, and regression testing in supported environments.
- Support change management processes and deployment coordination.
Required Skills and Experience :
2+ years of experience supporting Murex environments (preferably Murex 3.x).Good understanding of Murex architecture, including MxML workflows, Datamart, and MxG2000.Hands-on experience with UNIX / Linux systems and scripting (Shell, Python, or Perl).Basic database knowledge, especially Oracle and SQL, for querying and troubleshooting.Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys).Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications :
Exposure to Murex development and release management processes.Experience in investment banking or capital markets environment.Knowledge of source control and CI / CD tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus.Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident / Change / Problem Management).Show more
