Manager - Frontend Engineer (Data Visualization)

The Role : Mandate Note-

• Frameworks : React, Vue, or Angular.
• Libraries : Deep expertise in Chart.js, D3.js, or similar libraries for rendering complex network topologies and performance data.

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer who specializes in data visualization to build our platform's observability and analytics dashboards. Your mission will be to transform vast streams of complex network performance data into clear, interactive, and insightful visualizations. You will not just be building charts; you will be crafting the visual stories that enable our customers to understand the health, performance, and topology of their global networks in real-time. This role is for a creative developer who is passionate about making data beautiful and actionable.

Responsibilities :

Develop Interactive Dashboards : Design and build dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly observability dashboards using modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.

Create Custom Visualizations : Utilize deep expertise in libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, or similar to render complex network topologies, performance graphs, and real-time analytics charts.

Implement Real-Time Data Handling : Integrate with backend services using WebSockets to process and display high-frequency, live data streams with minimal latency.

Optimize for Performance : Find and implement ways to optimize rendering performance to ensure a smooth, interactive user experience, even when visualizing large and complex datasets.

Collaborate on UX : Work closely with UI / UX designers and product managers to translate data requirements into compelling and intuitive visual formats that solve customer problems.

Build Reusable Components : Contribute to our frontend component library by creating modular and reusable visualization components that can be leveraged across the platform.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

3+ years of frontend development experience, with a strong portfolio of data visualization projects.

Proficiency in a modern JavaScript framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.

Deep, hands-on expertise with data visualization libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts, or Highcharts.

Proven experience implementing real-time data updates using WebSockets or similar technologies.

Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript / TypeScript.

A solid understanding of data visualization theory and UI / UX design principles.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience visualizing network topologies or other graph-based data structures.

Familiarity with consuming RESTful or gRPC APIs.

Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques for handling large datasets in the browser.

Knowledge of UI testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).

A conceptual understanding of cloud computing and networking principles.
