About Company : The company, with three manufacturing facilities, manufactures a range of native and specialty starches, maltodextrin, modified starches, liquid glucose and sorbitol derived from maize, potato, and tapioca. They cater to the leading companies in Food, Pharma, Paper & Board, Textiles, Oil & Gas, and Animal Feed industry among others.

Job Title : Senior Executive, Sales & Marketing

Reports to : General Manager, Sales & Marketing

Job Location : Ahmedabad

Job Description :

§ Identify, develop, and manage new and existing business opportunities for starch and derivative products.

§ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and channel partners.

§ Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate product solutions in line with applications (food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, textiles, packaging, paper, etc.).

§ Assist in preparing business proposals / quotations, and provide relevant information to customers.

§ Support in achieving monthly / quarterly / annual sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.

§ Conduct regular market research to track industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

§ Coordinate with the technical and R&D teams to support customers with product trials, applications, and troubleshooting.

§ Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and customer support.

§ Support in managing sales documentation including contracts, invoices, and credit follow-up.

§ Provide periodic sales reports, forecasts, and MIS updates.

§ Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings.

Preferred qualification and desirable attributes in the candidate

§ Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, Food Technology, or related field. MBA maybe preferred.

§ 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the starch, food ingredients, chemicals, or allied industries.

§ Strong understanding of B2B sales and industrial marketing.

§ Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

§ Ability to quickly grasp and understand the business environment, market trends, competition, feasibility, end-use applications, and new developments.

§ Willingness to travel extensively to meet customers and explore new markets.

§ Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.

§ Comfortable in a fluid, high-change environment.
