About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backup & Database Engineer with strong expertise in Cohesity data protection and Microsoft SQL Server administration . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing backup and recovery solutions while ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of SQL databases across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain Cohesity backup and recovery solutions across enterprise infrastructure.
• Administer, monitor, and optimize MS SQL Server databases (on-prem and cloud).
• Develop and maintain backup policies, schedules, and retention strategies aligned with business continuity requirements.
• Perform regular database and backup health checks , capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Execute and validate data recovery and disaster recovery (DR) tests .
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure data integrity and compliance .
• Troubleshoot and resolve backup failures, database performance issues , and storage-related challenges.
• Document technical procedures, backup configurations, and recovery steps.
