Job description

Role :

Data Analyst / Developer – SQL (with Telecom & ETL focus)

Location : Pune (Hybrid)

Experience : 13 to 18 years

Primary Skills :

  • SQL (Data Analysis and Development)

Alternate / Good-to-Have Skills :

  • Python
  • SharePoint
  • AWS
  • ETL
  • Telecom, especially Fixed Network domain

    • Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

    Essential :

  • Strong SQL experience – Advanced level of SQL
  • Excellent data interpretation skills
  • Good knowledge of ETL and business intelligence
  • Good understanding of a range of data manipulation and analysis techniques
  • Working knowledge of large information technology development projects using methodologies and standards
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate IT concepts to non-technical personnel
  • Should be able to interact with business teams and share ideas
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to plan and organize work to deliver as agreed
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Hands-on experience working with large datasets
  • Ability to manage different stakeholders

    • Good to Have / Alternate Skills :

  • Strong coding experience in Python

    • Experience Requirements :

  • In-depth working experience in ETL

    • General Responsibilities (C2 Level) :

  • Fixing problems in cooperation with internal and external partners (e.g., Service Owner, Technical Support Team, IT-Ops)
  • Designing and implementing changes to existing components of the data flow
  • Developing and maintaining end-to-end data flows
  • Maintaining data quality and consistency, especially for business-critical processes
  • Conducting preventative maintenance of the systems
  • Driving system optimization and simplification
  • Responsible for data flow performance and optimization of data preparation in conjunction with the other technical teams
