Role Overview
The Unit Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned outlet (Bob’s Bar or any upcoming brand under Byg Ventures). The role involves ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high service standards, maximizing profitability, and fostering a culture of team engagement and guest satisfaction..
Key Responsibilities Operations & Service Excellence
- Lead all aspects of outlet operations including dining, bar, kitchen coordination, and guest service.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Maintain operational efficiency through strong floor management and team coordination.
- Drive consistency in food quality, service delivery, and ambience.
Financial & Business Management
Achieve revenue and profitability targets for the unit.Monitor daily sales, cost control, and inventory management.Prepare and analyze P&L statements and implement strategies to enhance margins.Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely procurement within budget.People Leadership
Recruit, train, and mentor team members to uphold brand values and service quality.Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and development sessions.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and guest-first attitude.Guest Relations & Brand Experience
Ensure an exceptional guest experience with personalized service and quick issue resolution.Build loyal customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.Maintain the brand’s tone and personality across all touchpoints of the outlet.Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies including FSSAI, excise, fire, and labor laws.Submit operational and financial reports to management on a regular basis.Coordinate with central departments (HR, Marketing, Finance, Projects) for smooth functioning.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.5–8 years of experience in restaurant or bar operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role .Proven track record in high-volume casual dining or pub environments.Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L.
