Role Overview
The role of Partnership Marketing Manager will involve driving co-marketing initiatives and joint programs with AWS and other strategic partners. This includes managing MDF (Market Development Funds) programs, planning and executing partner-led events online & offline), and creating joint campaigns that generate demand and strengthen ecosystem visibility.
In addition to partnership marketing, the role will also contribute to broader marketing activities such as brand communications, campaign support, and pipeline acceleration programs where required. This profile will need the employee to travel extensively.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Marketing (Core Focus)
- Own and manage co-marketing initiatives with AWS and ecosystem partners (ISVs, OEMs, channel partners).
- Plan, execute, and report on MDF-funded campaigns, ensuring compliance with AWS guidelines.
- Develop and drive joint go-to-market campaigns (events, webinars, digital campaigns).
- Work closely with partner teams to create case studies, success stories, and co-branded collateral.
- Track ROI and ensure measurable outcomes from partnership programs.
Event & Program Execution
Plan and execute partner-driven events such as roundtables, customer workshops, and large-format conferences.Coordinate with AWS and partner teams on speaker nominations, agenda planning, and audience acquisition.Manage follow-up campaigns to convert event leads into qualified opportunities.Marketing & Communication Support
Contribute to pipeline creation activities through targeted partner-driven campaigns.Support brand communication initiatives including content for press releases, blogs, and social media (especially co-branded content).Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to align partner marketing with business priorities.Skills & Experience
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in partnership marketing, alliance marketing, or B2B marketing in IT / Cloud services.Strong understanding of partner ecosystems (AWS, ISVs, OEMs, resellers).Proven experience managing MDF-funded campaigns and co-marketing programs.Hands-on experience with event execution (virtual & physical).Strong communication and relationship management skills.Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and deliver on tight timelines.Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools is a plus.What We Offer
