Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Indian Office.

Location : Cochin, Kerala, India

Type : Full-time | Office-based

Salary : Up to 14L per annum.

Job Description :

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems for high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. This role requires expertise in electrical design, site supervision, and compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Electrical Design :

✅ Develop electrical designs, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV systems.

✅ Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing.

✅ Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), schematics, and detailed technical drawings.

✅ Ensure designs comply with DEWA, ADDC, NEC, IEC, BS, and other relevant standards.

✅ Use AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, and other design software for electrical analysis.

✅ Collaborate with hvac and plumbing teams for seamless MEP integration.

Coordination & Reporting :

✅ Work closely with clients, architects, and MEP teams to achieve project objectives.

✅ Attend design review meetings.

✅ Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, and compliance documents.

Job Requirements :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience : Minimum 5-8 years in MEP consultancy, with Dubai / UAE project experience.
• Software Skills : Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, and MS Office.
• Regulatory Knowledge : Strong understanding of DEWA, ADDC, Dubai Civil Défense (DCD), and other UAE authority approvals.
• Communication Skills : Ability to liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors effectively.
