Power BI Developer

Duties & Responsibilities

Design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports

Expertise in SQL based data models and queries

Create advanced Excel reports and visualizations using pivot tables, Power Pivot, and cube functions

Build and maintain OLAP cube connections for Excel-based analysis

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting systems

Stay current with BI trends and recommend tools and techniques to enhance reporting capabilities

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or analytics

Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, visualization)

Proficiency in SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning

Proficiency in Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Pivot, cube formulas, and OLAP integration

Experience working with large datasets and complex data environments

Excellent communication skills

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / SVN

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake)

Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis

Certification in Power BI, Excel, or related technologies
