The HSEQ Lead will champion health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all sites. You&aposll be responsible for leading the HSEQ function, strengthening our food safety culture, and ensuring our operations meet the highest standards.
A key part of this role is managing both internal and external audits. You&aposll collaborate with client & Compass key stakeholders to understand their expectations and calibrate our processes accordingly.
You&aposll leverage strong partnerships with our culinary, and procurement teams to execute company standards and exceed Client Food&aposs expectations, ultimately enhancing the user experience.
The great things you will be expected to do :
Reporting to the Director of Operations (India) , you will work as a key member of the country leadership team to ensure you and your team manage all aspects of HSEQ and Governance across all aspects of the Food at Client Program and its values both to users, and to the vendor partners, ensuring alignment with global and regional objectives.
This role will require building and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders to drive the key business outcomes, governance initiatives and enterprise risk management initiatives across the business.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our HSEQ strategy is not only understood but also consistently followed at all our sites in India. This includes taking ownership of the following :
Strengthening food safety culture across Compass @ Client by leveraging technology and aligning all our in-unit employees with our group&aposs HSEQ objectives.
Designing and implementing a robust structure for risk assessment and compliance with all relevant food safety regulations.
Driving continuous improvement in our HSEQ bronze audit scores.
Overseeing and ensuring the effective delivery of all HSEQ training across our sites in India.
Gaining a deep understanding of our client's HSEQ requirements and expectations and implementing improvement plans as needed.
Conducting critical risk assessments during the pre-mobilization phase of new sites.
Taking full accountability for all client issues and escalations related to HSEQ performance.
Define clear performance standards for your team, aligning them with regional HSEQ delivery metrics.
Identify and address the development needs of your direct reports through internal and external training and certifications.
Cultivate our talent pipeline through effective coaching and aspiration management.
Identifying best practices within the industry and implementing them within our operations.
Continuously working towards process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
