Role Summary

People Tech Group is seeking a hands-on

Solution Architect

to design and lead an

Integrity Operating Window (IOW) AI platform

for a leading refinery. This role involves end-to-end architecture ownership across

GCP data services ,

event / middleware ,

agentic GenAI (MCP microservices) , and the

AI & knowledge base layer —delivering a secure, real-time, expert-in-the-loop system.

Key Responsibilities

Own and define the

reference architecture

from on-prem connectors to dashboards.

Design

MCP microservices

per data source (PI, IOW / LIMS, APM, ERP, Logbook).

Architect

event-driven systems

using Pub / Sub or Kafka.

Lead

agentic GenAI

design : Data Analysis Agent, Knowledge Agent, Expert Feedback Agent, and Orchestrator.

Implement

RAG & vector search

using pgvector, Vertex AI Matching Engine, or Milvus.

Ensure

security & governance : IAM, VPC, KMS, DLP, SSO, etc.

Select and size

middleware & data services

(Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, etc.).

Integrate workflows with

ERP systems

(SAP PM / Oracle EAM).

Define

observability & SLOs

for latency, freshness, and accuracy.

Model

infra + LLM costs , caching, and autoscaling strategies.

Lead delivery : architecture docs, ADRs, diagrams, and stakeholder engagement.

Required Qualifications

10+ years in distributed systems / data / AI architecture.

3+ years of hands-on experience with

GCP .

Expertise in

event-driven architectures

(Pub / Sub or Kafka).

Strong knowledge of

GCP services : Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, IAM, etc.

Experience with

GenAI & RAG : embeddings, grounding, prompt tooling.

Built

MCP-style adapters

and normalized data pipelines.

Integration experience with

PI, LIMS, APM, ERP

systems.

Strong understanding of

security, compliance, and auditability .

Excellent communication with SMEs and stakeholders.
