Job description4-9 years of experience in cyber forensics or a related field. Proficiency in forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, or Autopsy. Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and file systems. Experience with network forensics and analysis tools. Knowledge of incident response procedures and methodologies. Familiarity with legal aspects of cyber forensics and data privacy regulations. Certifications such as Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) or GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) are preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Forensic Specialist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in investigating cyber incidents and analyzing digital evidence. This role is critical in helping us understand and mitigate cyber threats, ensuring the security of our information systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough investigations of cyber incidents to determine the nature and extent of the breach.
- Collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence from various sources including computers, mobile devices, and networks.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings to support legal proceedings or organizational policy compliance.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies as needed during investigations.
- Stay updated with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and forensic technologies.
- Develop and implement forensic investigation protocols and best practices.
