Zinnov - Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - API / Functional Testing

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with expertise in manual testing and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Web Application Development, API validation (preferably for both API and mobile), API testing tools, and functional testing methodologies. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the quality and usability of products by identifying defects, enhancing testing processes, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

What Youll Need to Be Successful (Required Skills) :

• At least 4-6 years of hands-on experience in writing manual test cases, test plans, and executing test activities.
• Strong understanding of software quality assurance standards, practices, and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Web Application, API validation (API and Mobile is preferred), API tools, and manual test case execution.
• Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot defects, analyse test coverage, and predict gaps in requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong organisational and detail-oriented skills to produce quality test cases, plans, and release documentation.
• Ability to balance individual and team effort in collaborative processes while meeting set deadlines.
• Able to comprehend, perform project planning and execution, and mentor others while delivering on large, complex QA initiatives with minimal assistance and review.

Education / Certifications : Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience.
