Position : Workday FP&A Application Support Consultant

Experience : 10+ years

Location : Kolkata (Work from Office)

About the Role : We are seeking an experienced Workday FP&A Application Support Consultant to join our finance technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday FP&A modules, financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role requires expertise in Workday sheets, reports, dashboards, and integrations with ERP systems, along with strong business acumen in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain Workday sheets, reports, dashboards, and metrics to support financial and business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with f inance, accounting, and IT teams to optimize Workday financial modules and business processes.
  • Design and support integrations with ERP systems (preferably SAP) for data extraction and reporting.
  • Prepare and manage workflows, versions, access controls, dimensions, attributes, and metadata within Workday.
  • Build and maintain custom reports using OfficeConnect .
  • Support Workday system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting of financial models.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Execute ad-hoc financial analysis and contribute to special projects.
  • Provide training and end-user support globally for Workday FP&A tools and processes.
  • Continuously learn new Workday FP&A features and share knowledge with super users to enhance functionality.

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in FP&A and Workday Application Support.
  • Delivered 2–3 end-to-end Workday FP&A projects (multi-geography, multi segment environments).
  • Experience in at least one implementation / support project in the petrochemical industry.
  • Proven expertise in Workday FP&A models such as RM / FG inventories, RM planning, revenue, working capital, variable / fixed cost, Capex / Depreciation, MIS, etc.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (Finance), or related field.
  • Strong understanding of f inancial principles, accounting processes, and reporting frameworks.
  • Proficiency in financial data analysis and visualization (monthly review decks, dashboards, working capital, balance sheet, EBITDA, variance analysis, bridges, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in cross-functional teams.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Certification in Workday FP&A tool.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and overcome technical limitations in Workday FP&A.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MIS processes.
  • Hands-on experience in financial analysis and business reporting.
