Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee Rotogravure Printing Operations :

Manage and supervise the operation of MLS (Medium-Line Speed) and ELS (Extra-Line Speed) Rotogravure printing machines during assigned shifts.

Ensure smooth production processes while meeting quality standards.

Shift Management :

Handle shift schedules, ensuring all shifts are properly staffed and that operations are running efficiently and safely. Be available to work in rotating shifts as required.

Production Record Maintenance :

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each shift, including machine settings, production metrics, material consumption, and any issues or downtime that may occur during the printing process.

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution :

Identify and troubleshoot issues in the printing process to minimize downtime and maintain consistent quality. Work closely with the maintenance team to resolve technical problems with the printing machinery.

Team Supervision & Performance Monitoring :

Supervise the printing team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety and quality standards. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members as needed.

Quality Control :

Perform regular checks on printed materials to ensure they meet company and client specifications. Take corrective actions when quality issues arise, including adjusting machine settings or recalibrating the press.

Safety Protocol Implementation :

Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and best practices. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting periodic safety training for the team.

Reporting :

Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports on production performance, including data on output, downtime, wastage, and any corrective actions taken. Use reports to analyze trends and implement process improvements.

Skills :

Strong technical knowledge of Rotogravure printing machines and processes.

Ability to supervise a team and manage shift operations.

Proficient in troubleshooting, quality control, and maintaining production records.

Familiarity with industry safety standards and protocols.
