Position : Software Engineer L2

Shift timing : 6 : 30 PM to 3 : 30 AM

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days

Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to drive progress and help shape the future of education technology. You will play a key role in expanding our client’s course management and adaptive learning solution that empowers millions of learners to reach their full potential.

This position is 70% full stack, 30% backend Java.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Own end-to-end product delivery including technical design, development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle, utilizing infrastructure and monitoring as code.
  • Build responsive, web-based learning tools used by millions of learners and educators.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, sales, and marketing teams to create products customers love.
  • Serve as the technical expert for the product, supporting cross-functional teams and aligning product vision.
  • Work alongside a talented engineering team that embraces extreme ownership and collaboration.
  • Integrate AI features on higher ed platforms.

    • Must Haves :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years full-stack application development experience, ideally with product engineering background in B2B / B2C environments.
  • Experience building responsive, accessible and high-performance web-based products .
  • Ability and desire to work in various layers of software stack (front-end, backend).
  • Backend expert ( Java, Spring), with hands-on front-end experience ( Angular or React).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful services and experienc e i ntegrating AI features .
  • Experience with Docker, AWS, and CI / CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
  • Experience with databases, distributed caching, and Tomcat .
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (New Relic, Data Dog or Grafana)
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, Agile environments.

    • Nice to Haves :

  • Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Background in EdTech or education innovation.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for web applications
