About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative and skilled Video Editor to join our content team. You will be responsible for crafting compelling short-form and mid-length video content across platforms — from social media reels to promotional videos and branded content. This role requires a deep understanding of storytelling, editing trends, platform dynamics, and cultural nuances to create content that drives engagement and delivers impact.
Key Responsibilities
Edit short-form and mid-length videos such as reels, social media ads, promos, and content explainers.Implement engaging hooks, dynamic pacing, and a strong narrative rhythm to maximize viewer retention.Tailor editing styles to suit platform-specific behaviors (e.g., fast cuts for Instagram, scroll-stopping openers for YouTube Shorts).Enhance video quality through thoughtful color grading, text animations, transitions, and immersive sound design.Collaborate closely with writers, designers, and creative leads to bring scripts and visual concepts to life.Stay updated on current editing trends, meme formats, cultural references, and audio trends to keep content fresh and relatable.Analyze ad performance metrics and apply learnings to improve edits for better click-through and completion rates.Edit videos in the required language Gujrati ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and strong storytelling for the target audience.Requirements
1–2 years of experience in video editing for social media or digital content.Proficiency in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar.Strong portfolio of short-form content (reels, ads, promos).Good understanding of social platform algorithms and engagement tactics.Strong storytelling instincts, visual creativity, and sound design skills.Language proficiency : Ability to edit in specific language Gujrati with cultural sensitivity and linguistic command .Proficiency in English & Gujrati (written and spoken) for internal coordination and review.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines.
