Job description2-4 years of proficient knowledge of 2D / 3D visualization and working knowledge of the elements and principles of design Strong knowledge in floor planning software Knowledge of Canva or similar software Proven ability to create 2D and 3D design drawings and renderings Ability to interpret and understand architectural details and specifications as used in construction documents General awareness of building and health codes for compliance 2D / 3D rendering skills
The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.
Responsibilities :
- Create 2D and 3D floor layouts, renderings, and mood boards for client residential projects.
- Understand and apply knowledge of the furniture retail industry as well as Ashley’s products and online exclusive products, operations, and manufacturing to reinforce brand aesthetic.
- Responsible for capturing client requests and designing beautiful, functional, and within budget spaces that represent both a personalized approach as well as established brand lifestyles within set time limits.
- Independently manage multiple projects at different stages of completion and varying complexity to ensure that deadlines are met. Record and communicate project status to necessary parties.
