PHP Backend Developer Opportunity

Horizon Sphere Equity is a private equity and innovation firm investing in high-growth sectors and building world-class digital platforms.

As we expand our global engineering team, we are seeking an experienced PHP Backend Developer to help us develop robust back-end systems and web applications for our portfolio companies.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter preferred), strong knowledge of MySQL / PostgreSQL databases, query optimization, and software development principles.

Responsibilities include :

• Developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel / Symfony / CodeIgniter framework
• Building RESTful APIs and integrating with external services
• Collaborating with front-end developers, designers, and product managers
• Optimizing database queries and application performance
• Writing clean, well-documented, and testable code
