We’re looking for an accomplished Senior Manager – Data & Analytics Delivery to lead the delivery of our Unified Data Platform on AWS and Snowflake, ensuring world-class data services for stakeholders worldwide. In this role, you’ll lead a high-performing team that designs and delivers cutting-edge data and machine learning pipelines, transforming business goals into scalable, insight-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate across business, IT, and vendor partners to enable innovation through data, driving impact with integrity, inclusion, and excellence.

What will you be doing?

  • Build and lead a team of data engineers, architects, and data analysts to execute end-to-end Data and Analytics projects from estimation, planning, resourcing, and monitoring perspectives.
  • Support Data & Analytics departments across the entire company including manufacturing, operations, marketing, and finance
  • Oversee the delivery and health of analytics projects to meet business requirements. Monitor and review the status of the project and ensure that the deliverables are on track with respect to scope, budget, and time.
  • Identify and manage risks / issues related to deliverables and arrive at mitigation plans to resolve the issues and risks
  • Recruit Motivate, mentor, and lead elite analytics and data engineering team members.
  • Democratize data-driven decision making by arming all departments with the education, guidance, and tools needed to turn data into information and deploy it to maximize their impact.
  • Partner with Business Engagement team to understand their data analytics, reporting and eventually AI / ML needs and create data solutions to support them.
  • Drive data security in compliance with required legal and regulatory policy.
  • Keep pace with the changing business environment, technology, and data innovation to optimize data value.
  • Hold your teams accountable for consistent, timely delivery
  • Help build a strong data delivery team and implement a DevOps model.
  • Collaborate with data architecture and business engagement teams to drive the implementation of a Snowflake Datawarehouse (DW) on AWS; act as the data delivery owner and facilitate agile teams to deliver.
  • Recommend solutions to improve new and existing DW and Analytics solutions.
  • Lead business outcome focused conversations that will prioritize and deliver the right information at the right time and drive the ongoing solution build so that the desired outcomes are met.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders across the various business and technical teams to develop and execute effective data quality processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that a communication and engagement process is in place during and post project
  • Participate in numerous communities of practice groups including development, data architecture, business intelligence and analytics, and project management.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (statistics, engineering, business analytics, information systems, aviation management or related degree)
  • Demonstrated customer-facing experience of 7-8 years in a consulting or delivery capacity, preferably in the Life Sciences, Medical Device or similar industry; the role requires strong collaboration with technical and functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of data and analytics business process flow and / or entity relationship modeling; solid understanding of business intelligence tools (Power BI or Tableau), working with cloud-native tools (Snowflake and AWS).
  • Understanding of the full analytics project lifecycle from requirements gathering, analytical environment set up, analytics and data engineering project management, and handover and wrap up.
  • Demonstrable project governance understanding related to deliverables alignment and quality control; timelines, risk assessment, blocker identification and escalations; scope creep and resource allocation
  • Familiarity with agile projects and Agile SCRUM trained / certified; the culture in the team is fast-paced and requires strong collaboration with cross functional and cross geographical teams. You must have experience working with JIRA.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, working cross-functionally across the organisation.
  • Must be effective in a team and demonstrate leadership aptitude with strong problem solving, critical thinking skills, influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with history of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
  • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal), documentation skills and presentation skills.
  • Highly proficient in gaining consensus and collaboration with peers in the migration journey from current on prem to future state cloud-based technologies and architectures.
  • Ability to work effectively with other technology teams as well as business partners.
