Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

Partner with leadership to develop financial strategies aligned with business growth and expansion plans.

Drive long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Provide commercial insights into pricing, margin analysis, and product costing.

Manufacturing & Cost Control

Oversee cost accounting, raw material costing, and production cost control.

Collaborate closely with Production, Purchase, Stores and Planning teams to optimize procurement costs, manufacturing expenses, and inventory levels.

Monitor working capital utilization with a focus on inventory management and vendor payment cycles.

Establish cost control measures across manufacturing operations to improve profitability.

Financial Operations & Reporting

Lead timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and company policies.

Manage banking, treasury, and funding operations efficiently. ERP & Systems Oversight

Manage financial modules in ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Navision) ensuring accuracy and process integrity.

Lead process automation, digitalization, and real-time reporting capabilities.

Risk Management & Compliance

Establish strong internal controls, audit readiness, and governance framework.

Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, investors, and compliance agencies.

Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

Foster cross-departmental collaboration for financial discipline and accountability.

Qualifications - CA preferred.

Post Qualification Experience (8+ years) in Finance Controller.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and statutory

requirements.

Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Navision,

Microsoft Dynamics), and MS Excel.

Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
