Hiring for " Hospital Information Systems (HIS) & EHR ,EMR ."

Experience - 3-14 years

Location - Bangalore / Chennai / Noida / Pune / Hyderabad

Notice period - Immediate to 60 days Only

We are looking for a highly experienced and technically proficient L2 Support Engineer with end-to-end knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) & EHR ,EMR . This role requires deep understanding of all HIS modules, healthcare workflows, and technical infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for resolving complex issues, supporting integrations, and ensuring seamless operation of HIS across clinical, administrative, and operational domains.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide second-level support for all HIS modules, including :

Patient Administration (Registration, Admission, Discharge, Transfer)

Outpatient & Inpatient Management

Pharmacy & Medication Management

Laboratory Information System (LIS)

Radiology Information System (RIS)

Billing, Claims, and Insurance

Clinical Documentation & EMR

Operation Theatre (OT) Management

Inventory & Supply Chain

Emergency & Acute Care

Nursing & Ward Management

Dietary, Housekeeping, Biomedical, and Support Services

Perform root cause analysis and resolve escalated issues from L1 support.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams for bug fixes, enhancements, and upgrades.

Support HIS integrations with third-party systems (e.g., PACS, LIS, ERP, mobile apps).

Monitor system performance, conduct audits, and ensure data integrity.

Participate in HIS implementation, testing, and go-live support.

Document technical solutions, SOPs, and contribute to training materials.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data security standards.

Technical Skills Required :

HIS Platforms : Deep familiarity with enterprise HIS solutions (e.g., Cerner, Meditech, TrakCare, or custom-built systems)

Database Management : Advanced SQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server – query optimization, stored procedures, data migration

Operating Systems : Windows Server, Linux (advanced troubleshooting)

Networking : TCP / IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewall configurations

Healthcare Standards : HL7, FHIR, DICOM, ICD-10, SNOMED CT

Application Servers : IIS, Apache, Tomcat

Scripting & Automation : PowerShell, Bash, Python (for diagnostics and automation)

Monitoring Tools : Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Grafana

Ticketing Systems : ServiceNow, Jira, Fresh service

Remote Support Tools : Citrix, TeamViewer, Any Desk

Security & Compliance : HIPAA, ISO 27001, GDPR (awareness and implementation)

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.

4–7 years of experience in HIS support or healthcare IT systems.

Proven experience in handling HIS across multiple modules and hospital departments.

Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Certifications :

Healthcare IT certifications (e.g., CHIT, HIMSS)

Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS – if HIS is cloud-hosted)
