Description
The Project Supply Chain Lead will oversee and manage supply chain projects to optimize processes and improve efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in supply chain management, project coordination, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage supply chain projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure they are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to optimize the supply chain operations.
- Train and mentor junior team members in supply chain project management best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.8-10 years of experience in supply chain management or project management.Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics.Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.Skills Required
