Job Title : Senior IT Administrator
Location : Ahmedabad
Timings : 11 AM to 08 PM
Objective of the Job :
To ensure seamless operation, maintenance, and security of the organization's IT systems, networks, hardware, and software, providing timely support and technical expertise to meet business needs effectively.
Scope :
Responsible for the complete administration of IT infrastructure, including network management, server configuration, cybersecurity, data backup, user support, and IT asset management across all departments.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Manage and monitor all installed systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, hardware, and enterprise applications.
- Ensure the highest levels of system, data, and network availability.
- Maintain and implement security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions in Active Directory.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues promptly.
- Perform regular system audits, patch management, and security updates.
- Maintain and update IT asset inventories, licensing, and documentation.
- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for IT procurement, AMC, and technical support.
- Enforce IT policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Support implementation of new technologies and IT automation initiatives.
Essential Educational & Experience Qualification :
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Applications / Information Technology / Computer Engineering.7+ years of experience in IT administration, system / network management, or related technical support roles.Necessary Technical / Functional Skills :
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management and cybersecurity practices.Expertise in Windows and Linux server environments.Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.Familiarity with cloud environments (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure).Troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and root cause analysis.Required Behavioral Competencies :
