Principal Backend Engineer, Infrastructure

We’re looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and help us design, build, and operate large-scale, high-performance, cloud-native infrastructure systems.Responsibilities : - Architect Kubernetes clusters and drive automation for provisioning, scaling, and upgrades.- Develop cost optimization strategies for cloud services and infrastructure utilization.- Build internal platform services (e.g., CI / CD pipelines, observability stacks) for use by engineering teams across the company.- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, or CDK for reproducible and auditable infrastructure changes.Experience : - 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.- Expertise in cloud-native infrastructure—AWS, GCP, or Azure—with deep hands-on experience.- Strong background in Kubernetes architecture and operations (schedulers, K8s internals).- Experience building internal developer platforms, control planes, or service frameworks.- Fluent in modern scripting and programming languages—Go, or Python.- Familiarity with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and CI / CD tools.- Experience with infra / security compliance in production-grade environments (e.g., PCI, SOC 2, ISO).
