Role Overview
The Day Zero Vertical Lead acts as the strategic orchestrator for Data & AI across a defined vertical. This role connects the dots between account intelligence, delivery readiness, GTM motion, and customer engagement. The Lead builds a 360° view of each account’s Data & AI landscape, shapes account strategies, accelerates fulfilment, and ensures measurable success across squads.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Intelligence & Strategy
- Understand the full Data & AI footprint of accounts within the vertical — from delivery engagements to emerging opportunities.
- Build an account-wise strategy and 90-day plan integrating delivery insights, AI maturity, and new demand themes.
- Partner with GTM and sales to translate account intelligence into pipeline growth.
- Fulfilment & Execution Velocity
- Drive rapid fulfilment for open positions and squad setup through close alignment with Capability & Capacity teams.
- Anticipate upcoming demand and create a ready talent bench aligned to AI readiness goals.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with Delivery Leaders, Client Partners, and GTM leaders to align execution and growth priorities.
- Represent the Day Zero program in vertical reviews and transformation councils.
- Governance & Insights
- Track AI maturity, revenue realization, and squad health metrics using the Account Intelligence Dashboard.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and interventions to keep the vertical on the AI industrialization path.
- Evangelism & Enablement
- Collaborate with the AI Orchestration Office and Service Line leaders to codify best practices and reusable playbooks.
- Coach delivery and presales teams on framing Data & AI narratives within account contexts.
Desired Profile
Experience : 10–15 years in Data & AI presales, solutioning, or delivery strategy roles.Background : Proven experience in managing multi-account or vertical portfolios, with an understanding of end-to-end AI adoption lifecycle.Skills : Account planning, stakeholder management, talent fulfillment, data storytelling, pipeline creation, and executive communication.Mindset : Hands-on, outcome-driven, collaborative, with the ability to blend analytics with business context.Preferred : Prior experience in AI presales, AI-led delivery transformation, or vertical leadership roles in large IT organizations.What Success Looks Like
