DevOps Engineer

Job Title : Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS / GCP (CI / CD, Terraform, Python)

Location : Bengaluru / Chennai / Hyderabad

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS (preferably AWS Certified Solutions Architect) and / or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and managing CI / CD pipelines , Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / OpenTofu , and strong scripting skills in Python . Familiarity with GitLab , Chef , Auth0 , and optionally Ruby on Rails or Node.js is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and / or GCP .

Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines using GitLab CI / CD , integrating automated testing, security scans, and deployment workflows.

Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform or OpenTofu .

Write and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and tooling.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the SDLC.

Manage and configure Git repositories and branching strategies using GitLab / Git .

Understand and support Chef Cookbooks for configuration management.

Configure and manage Auth0 tenants , including rules, hooks, and identity providers.

(Optional) Contribute to backend services built in Ruby on Rails or Node.js .

Required Skills :

Cloud Platforms : AWS (Solution Architect preferred) and / or GCP – Must Have

CI / CD : GitLab CI / CD pipeline creation and management – Must Have

Version Control : Git, GitLab – Must Have

IaC Tools : Terraform / OpenTofu – Expertise Required

Scripting : Python – Required

Configuration Management : Understanding of Chef and Cookbooks – Good to Have

Identity Management : Experience with Auth0 tenant configuration – Good to Have

Programming : Ruby on Rails / Node.js – Nice to Have

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent GCP certification is a strong plus.

Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
