Job descriptionDesign and optimize schemas using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other relational databases. Write efficient queries, handle indexing, performance tuning, and data migrations. Ensure data integrity, reliability, and security. Follow TDD (Test-Driven Development) principles wherever applicable. Write and maintain feature, unit, and integration tests. Enforce strong static analysis using PHPStan, Psalm, or similar tools. Participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards. Work closely with frontend developers using Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks. Build clean API contracts and collaborate on frontend-backend integrations. Solid understanding of modern JavaScript, REST consumption, and async workflows . Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and architecture guidance. Lead technical discussions, system design reviews, and implementation planning. Take ownership of delivery for assigned modules and ensure technical excellence. Drive engineering best practices across the team. Work with CI / CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with DevOps on deployment automation, monitoring, and scaling. 7–10+ years of professional backend development experience . Strong expertise in Laravel 10+ and modern PHP (8.x+). Proven experience in building REST APIs and full-scale web applications . Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL , and relational database design. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills . Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture . Hands-on experience with TDD , PHPUnit, Pest, or similar frameworks. Proficiency with PHPStan, static analysis, and code quality tools . Experience implementing coding standards and automated quality checks. Working knowledge of Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks. Understanding of frontend build tools, state management, and API integrations. Proven experience leading teams or acting as a technical mentor. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics simply. Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments . Experience with Redis, queues, background workers, and event-driven systems . Experience with microservices or modular monolith architecture . Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP . Experience with GraphQL alongside REST. Prior startup or product-led engineering experience. Strong engineering ownership mindset . A leader who sets standards and raises the bar for the team. Someone who deeply cares about performance, security, and scalability . Builder mentality with attention to long-term maintainability.

Strong knowledge of databases, testing, and code quality tooling is essential.
