Opportunity for MATLAB with Simscape Engineer

B.E & M.Tech -Electronics and Electrical background

Develop and validate plant models for various vehicle components using MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape and Stateflow.

Perform model-based development and simulation of vehicle systems (Commercial Vehicles Truck &Buses), with a focus on longitudinal dynamics (knowledge of lateral and vertical dynamics is a plus).

Create and manage data dictionaries and perform auto-code generation using Embedded Coder, including optimization for embedded deployment.

Conduct model verification and validation activities such as MIL (Model-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop), and Model Advisor checks.

Develop M-scripts for automation and model enhancement.

Integrate models with vehicle communication systems using CAN protocols.

Support the HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) team in integrating and testing plant models in real-time environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure model accuracy and integration with control systems.

Document software designs, test results, and technical observations clearly and effectively.

Preferred Skills :

Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and control systems.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and model configuration management.

Familiarity with ISO 26262 or other automotive safety standards.

Exposure to HIL testing tools such as dSPACE, or Vector.

Good analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
